Hey Ya'll

So yeah, it's really late, well early actually...but I just can't sleep. This week has just been so amazing so far. I don't even know how to explain it. Like I wish I could put everything I've experienced/felt into words. It's just so nice to be back on the mountain in the community where everyone supports and cares about you. Where you are constantly surrounded by God, you feel him in your life, and you are constantly in a state of prayer. I really hope that this summer is my "renewal" i guess you would call it. My chance to redefine myself and become the strongest I've ever been in my faith.

I feel that I need to really work on my faith. That it's not as strong as it could be, should be. Up here it is so easy for me to connect with God and hear what he wants. But back at home it's a different story. And I want it to be like it is here, at home. But I have a feeling that is going to take a lot of work. I mean, up here you are so secluded, there are no distractions to keep you away from God. All of your attention is on serving him.

I've figured out that there is a lot of things back home that I need to let go of, that I need to move on from. And I think that there is no better place to do it that on the Mountain. I need to learn to forgive myself for the things that I've done and to forgive the others who have hurt me terribly along the way. That sitting in silence, listening to the wind blow through the trees, and closing my eyes can reveal so much. How I thought to myself today "It's sad I can't even remember the last time I did this, laid in the grass watching the clouds." And it is terribly sad that I don't even have the time to watch clouds. That our lives are just so full of our own priorities, that we forget to just relax and sit in the silence.

*On A Less Serious Note*

Most of the guys here have already become like brothers to me, watching out for me and everything. And it's so awesome that I have Veronica on my Staff. We were in the same Major Group a couple years back, so it was so nice to see her again. I can already tell that my staff is going to be amazing!! We all have the same sense of humor and of course we pretty much all LOVE to dance :))) Our sister staff is pretty amazing themselves, and the other dancers are on that staff too. I can pretty much bet that we're all gonna have no problem getting along. We move into Baker on Sat. and I just can't wait!!

Hey Ya'll,

So it's wednesday and we're getting into the nitty gritty of training. I'm lovin' it though :) We're all growing close and seriously becoming a huge family. We have dance parties pretty much everynight. And of course they're being DJd by Myself & the Amazing Mary-Kate :) It's been raining up here, so my Allergies have calmed down a lot, it's so nice to be able to breathe again.

I found out what Staff I'm on yesterday. We're freaking Amazing!! I'll be at Baker for SP 1,3,5,& 7. Which means Wedgewood...I'll have ya'll. But before you get too excited there is one catch. Because Mountain T.O.P. is buckling down on like Adult Protocall(sp) and everything I'm not allowed to like hug any of ya'll and stuff. The only people I can be like that with will be Mom, Daddy, & Drew. Adults, you'll hear more about all of this in your Adult Meeting on Sunday with Bo.

Hey Ya'll!!

So I've officially complete my first day of Staff Training...and today was the easy day...lol. I'm all moved in and settled in Friends and I'm rooming with Kim, my MC from last summer. I'm also realizing everything I DIDN'T bring with me. So I'm making a list of everything I need to get from Nashville on break. It's so nice to be back on the mountain with everyone. I'm LOVING it!!

The drive down wasn't bad at all. It honestly doesn't feel like I drove all the way down to Tennessee. We only got lost once, and that was because we turned the wrong way off of 50 onto 108 and started heading towards Tracy City instead of Altamont.

I find out which staff I'm going to be on and which camp I'll be at on Tues. So I'll be sure to post it on here so you know my address and everything. Well I gotta go get some sleep. I've been up for about 18 hours now, and I have to be awake in about 7...lol

Hey Guys!!

It's about 2:07pm. I just finished loading everything up into my truck and I'm getting ready to go downstairs and say bye to my Mom and Grandma. Then I'll be leaving to drive down to Tenn. I'll be stopping at OSU to hang out/pick up my friend Becca, then i'll be taking her with me to Cincinnati where I'll be staying the night tonight with my cousin. Tomorrow morning I'll be leaving around 9am and meeting Betsy somewhere outside Louisville and we'll drive the rest of the way to Nashville together.

I can't wait to finally just get up to the Mountain!! I'll update again once I get there.
